Fished with a new partner today, Justin, from our bass club. Ran downtown to start the day, good casting practice. Landed one legal spot on a Bandit 300. At least the skunk is out of the boat. Ran further down river, fished wood and barge tie ups, riprap. Texas rigged, cranked, used shakey head, threw a jig, no takers. Moved a couple of times, and Justin lands our " big" one on a brush hog. Tried a couple more spots, heading back to Riverpark, didn't fill our limit. Caught a number of short fish all day, just two keepers. Ended up around 3# sack. Fought the wind, like everyone else all day. Congrats to the winners, and three big fish winners. Thanks to the committee for another tournament, see ya'll on Chick in a few weeks.
