Fished a small tournament on Watts Bar today. Started very cold, guides icing up, and cold fingers. Caught my first on a Bandit 200 in 49 degree water. Close to measuring but a non keeper. Got my second, a squeaker. Landed my first keeper, 'bout 2#. Kept fishing shallow all day. Caught a limit, but no kickers to cull up with. As the day progressed, my spot kept reloading. Fished Whites Creek, ended nearly throwing on the dirt to catch fish, they ended in a foot or two, right on the bank. Caught 20-25 fish today, ended with 11.8. Better than my days on Chick lately. Grass is showing up also, nice and crisp and green.

that's a good day fishing up there, I herd the grass is coming back up there a lot of people don't wont to see grass on watts bar. I remember when it was growing up there in the late 80'sand caught and fish in it. thanks for the report.

My buddy fished that tx i think thay had about 12 boats --- ---he had 17+-----Winner had 21lb---2nd 20lb,---3rd had 19+. I think the bite was on small crankbaits.
