just want to tell everyone i talked to my buddy in soddy and said he killed them day before yesterday. him and his wife were below the dam and they cought 40 smallmouth.he said he had never cought so many smallies at one time. they went back yesterday and cought about 15. his wife cought 5.4 smallie and he had one that went 7.5 said it was a heck of a fight.his buddy took picture and soon as i get it i will post it for him. all fished cought on pumpkinseed tubes and junebug worms. all was realeased in good health.cant wait to get back up there. emoEnforce Dont know if im winding my butt are scratch my watch

That sounds like fun. Those smallies really fight a lot harder than the LMs. I caught a weenie smallie tonight and it outpulled the keeper LM.

There is no doubt the 18 inch limit has helped produce so nice fish down there. i have caught more 3+ lb smallies this year than ever. But my biggest smallie of the year came from Chickamuga so it must be workign there also.
