Smallmouth in East Tennessee

I would like to try to catch some smallmouth this weekend. A bit of travel is not a problem. Any suggestions on where to go would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Holston and Clinch Rivers are fairly reliable for some fish with a small boat or wading sections of it, slightly stained water helps.... and high water kills the fishing on these rivers.

What sort of lure/tackle if I wanted to fish below watts bar? How deep are the fish?

dt6, swimbaits, spinnerbaits. Chartruese works good

There biting at woods really good but 4 tournaments tomorrow sunday would be good smallmouth by the sackfull want last long they disapear but a good lake
