Smallmouth on main lake 8/24

Went fishing with G.W. and his mom today from about 9:15 to 2pm today. G.W. caught his personal bests in LM, SM, Blue cat, and drum ever today. All were caught on threadfins on two sections of a drop on the main lake. G.W. started off with a 2lb LM, then caught a 3lb smallie, an 8 1/2 lb bluecat as well as many others. We had a great time. I'm a 4th grade teacher so it always gives me a smile to see a kid fishing. I wish I could take my class on a fishing field trip! That covers standards right?

Great report polo. My first fish was a brown fish just about that size when I was in the third grade and I still remember it. G.W. will certainly remember this day too. Good job.
