Snaking a fuel line?

If the existing fuel line is there....

Try putting them end to end and use duct tape to secure them together.

*Just determine which end of the old hose you want to tape the new hose on, which end is easier to feed the old hose through first - transom or through compartment?

Then pull the old line out as the new line feeds through the same route. Just don't be yanking hard while feeding the hoses through; or you may pull the two hose apart.

Go to lowes and get a barbed splice for what size fuel line you are replacing and simply disconnect the old line and spice the new to it then pull it through. If I am installing a new wire or such I use a old shifter cable with the end cut off. I run it to where I want and use electrical tape to secure the new item to the cable and pull through. Hop this helps!!

It's fixed! I got it done in about 45 minutes. Installed new hoses everywhere, new primer bulb, new inline filter, new fittings, new vent shaft. Couldn't believe it actually started... emoLaugh Nothing ever goes right on my first try. To the lake tomorrow! Thanks for all your help gentlemen. Couldn't have done it without you and CFF emoThumbsup
