You guys getting anything? We got about 4" at the house here in Murfreesboro. I love to see it even though it ruined my trout fishing

Where were you heading to trout fish? My daughter lives in Murfreesboro & I need a place to trout fish when we visit! Oh, some of my best days on a stream when I lived in NC were when it snowed. If you can get there, they should bite!

During the winter months I fish below Normandy dam. They stock it and it's like shooting fish in a barrel. The Caney below center hill has the best trout fishing in the area. It's about an hour from Murfreesboro and the only river they actually thrive in. Right now the trout below Normandy are starting to put on some weight due to the shad kill. Most are about 12-14" but they stocked somewhere around 350 brood trout that weigh from 4-6 pounds this year. I checked the flow earlier and it's to much to fish now. It will take a week to get back to normal.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try it when the flow is right. What kind of flow is best?

You can fish with the flow below 300 but the best is around 100-150.
