With the recent addition of a StructureScan to go with my HDS units, I am hoping to eventually map out a whoooolllllleeeee bunch of structure on Tims. So say i am out and catch a couple of fish at 13' in some stumps with a rocky bottom, I'd like to be able to quickly pull up any waypoints that had stumps in 13' of water with a rocky bottom.....
wondering how everyone organizes their waypoints to help facilitate this ? I'm pretty sure i won't even get close to the 5000 it will store, but at the moment while I am still excited about using it, I could easily see having a hundred or more different waypoints on a lake the size of Tims (I may find out i am very wrong, only time will tell).
Seems I can get up to around 30 mph and still have a pretty good picture of the bottom, so I was thinking for a while i would just keep the boat around 20 mph and pretty much log everywhere i go, then review it all at home instead of watching the **** tube - marking all of the structure etc......so I could see waypoints adding up pretty fast.

So seems the trick will be finding them quickly so after i do catch those couple of fish, i can just zoom to another spot with pretty much the same structure, depth etc....

Almost seems like I would need a separate database just to find everything...
any ideas appreciated.
