The wind kept us off the the water yesterday, so my son and I decided to try it off the dock where our old houseboat is. We fished from about 3:30 till 6 and the crappie were cooperative. We ended up with 12 keepers and I would guess at least 25-30 short fish. I also caught a golden shiner and had something run me under and break me off before I could turn it. All fish caught on 1/16th jigs most keepers on chartreuse curly tail or red over chartreuse tube in 6-8 feet of water.
