I know a lot of you guys seem to like these rods. I just wanted to say that I was down at soddy custom tackle this morning and they had a whole bunch of them in stock. I think the price was around $149 but they might deal a little. I dont own any but they seemed nice.

Way to freakin steep for my pocket book, If I spend more than 50 bucks on a rod I feel dirty.. and I'm extremely ruff on rods too.. I just broke my fav flippin stick it cost me $69 .. busted my prop same evening .. and only caught one 14" fish to boot .. :( emoBang emoBang emoBang emoBang

Yeah... I have wanted one of those since Cabela's dangled 'em in front of me but they are too much for my budget as well.

The beauty of cheap tackle is that you your not afraid to really use it. The beauty of expensive tackle is that it stays shinny and scratch less cos when you finally decided to use it you were exrta careful with its transport and use. It has now taken me a week and a half and I have not used my new Abu Garcia.

I still ahve no idea what you're talking about. Wasn't me.;)

I talked to the guys at Soddy tonight and they said they will honor the warranty in-house...if it breaks and they have it in stock, you get a new one on the spot.

I think my little buddy fishinvol is exagerating about me switching over but Jason isn't. Soddy custom replaced 2 broken Cumara's for me on the spot. Anf they replaced them with more expensive models at no charge. That kind of service is why I shop there.

I have been in to Soddy Custom several times. They are always helpful to me and I am not surprised that they would stand behind the product they sell.
