Soddy Daisy Boat Ramp

How can we ge TWRA to make Soddy boat ramp area no wake just like Wolftever. It really gets dangerous there in the summer time with all the traffic.

that is a great idea. way to many inconsiderate morons that play thru that area. i enjoy playing but i dont see why they need to do it right be side the ramp.

I was up there trying to push my boat off the trailer by myself and was just about to step on deck. I had noticed a couple guys chatting with someone on the dock and when they finished up the cranked the motor on their 20' Chapparall and nailed it. Problem was I had one foot on the bow and the other on the trailer toungue. There was such a wake and water jetted all over me and the boat. It literally pushed my boat back onto the trailer nearly pinning my leg!!! This is why I dont carry a sidearm much. COuld have easily broke my leg or pinned me under the boat. Very close call and it could have went wrong in many ways.

Hook1, you just cant fix stupid and there is always some stupid boaters out there. I seem to run into them everytime i am out.
Nothing personal, but i hope they dont make it a no wake all the way across the creek as the no wakes like the one going in wolftever are a pain. emoBang

It needs to be all the way across the creek right there. I received significant damage to my boat there last year. To many idiot wakeboarders and jet skis there.

I sent my email, I had some damage to my boat and my wifes foot when she was holding my boat for me to get my trailer. A wake boat came through about thirty feet away full speed, she tried to keep the boat from hitting the dock and smashed her foot by the time I got down there the boat was gone around toward the highway.
