Im going next weekend to get some plastics, can anyone tell me some colors that work & what kind of plastics work well.

thanks JarettemoScratch

On all the bodies of water that I have fished for any length of time, purple has produced very well. My father started me out on a purple 7" twirl tail worm, and I still have them in my tackle box.

I agree that green pumpkin is a great color to have, as well as red shad. Another color that seemingly gets lost among all the colors is plain black. It's a great color to have as a back up.

Another color is chartreuse pumpkin, which is a color that I used extensively through the Zoom products.

I did very well on Chick last year with black/blue Berkley Chigger Craws. Texas rigged with a 1/4 oz weight was the ticket.

If you want to fish the river around Riverpark, Downtown and Moccasun bend then tubes are the way to go. Any color in brown works. The BassPro TenderTubes are my favorite followed by the Gitzit brand. 3.5" with a 1/8 oz lead head is the ticket.

Also check into getting some Berkley Powerminnows. You won't be sorry.

THANKS alot guys, Im gonna print this and take with me so i dont forget. thanks again. jarett

right now on the chick grubs are workin well if thats wat u had in mind i usually catch bass on a fat albert in glimmer blue ,chartruese pepper ,and the old hh grub in a watermelon shade thats really hard to find . if you find any let me know or buy all they have and ill split the costs .

I'm partial to pumpkin/chartreuse during the day and black at night. I don't fish a lot during the winter but a 4inch worm for spots and if the water is cold used to work well for me. At night using a 6-10 inch worm seems to do better as I think that the fish find bigger baits at night since they put out bigger vibrations.
