I have a 1990 Skeeter 175SX 18.5 FT. bass boat for sale - $300.00 FIRM.
There is NO MOTOR, NO TROLLING MOTOR just boat and trailer.
The transom is weak, but some of you jon boat fisherman may want to put a little outboard motor or trolling motor on it and you are ready to fish...OR if you are a mechanic...just fix the transom and put a 175H.P. on the back with a trolling motor on the front and you are ready for tournament fishing! Boat is in very good shape. Also included are 3 deep cycle batteries. Boat has functioning bilge & livewell pumps, water surface temperature guage, transducer and wiring ready for Lowrance electronics.

Reason for selling: just purchased a new boat and DO NOT WANT TO PAY ANY MORE MONEY FOR STORAGE!

THE FIRST $300.00 GETS IT.

Thanks,
Rick

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - $1,000.00

Please post pics, pics of interior also and any other info you can. Very interested....

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - $1,000.00

That looks like a great deal to me if it's the boat and trailer for $1000. Just need to spend some money on upholstery work and new carpet plus getting a motor at a good price. Good luck! emoSmile

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - $1,000.00

I reduced the price from $1,000.00 to $700.00 FIRM. This is a good deal!

If interested, give me a call.

Thanks,

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - REDUCED - $700.00 FIRM

i thought a 175SX was a 17.5 foot boat.i guess not.

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - REDUCED - $700.00 FIRM

I thought it was a 17.5ft. boat as well, but the DNR Boat Registration listed it as 18ft. 6in. on the registration card.

Maybe we can call it 18ft.

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - $1,000.00

will the transom hold a 50hp motor

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - $1,000.00

Yes...a 50h.p. should be fine.

Just let me know.

Re: 1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - REDUCED--- $300.00 FIRM---or it goes to Charity

Hey guys,
I apologize for posting the boat was "SOLD". It is NOT sold.
I have had 3 guys (who never seen the boat) tell me they want it and then canceled. I will not be able to hold this boat for anyone.
If you want it...it is $300.00 CASH in "AS IS" condition.

I am available to meet on Wednesday morning (8-10), Thursday night (8-11), Friday morning (8-12), Saturday afternoon (8-13).
The boat needs to be gone by this weekend.

Thanks,
Rick

I wouldn't normally do this , but I spoke to this seller on Tuesday after he called me and said the boat was up for sale as he had some other buyers back out for one reason or another. I made a verbal agreement to buy the boat and said I'd be there today by 0600 PM. I even offered to FedEx the money or PayPal the $$$. I took off work made arrangements to drive 400 miles today to pu the boat. He then calls and leaves me a message saying he had to sell it to another fella as he wanted to get the boat gone. My only gripe here is what the heck ever happened to folks standing by their word. I guess a man's word is his bond...is old school for some folks. My advice, don't make any business dealings with this gentlemen as you'll likely end up getting screwed if he sees an easier way out of your business agreement!

Re: SOLD---1990 Skeeter 18FT. Bass Boat - REDUCED--- $300.00 FIRM---or it goes to Charity

usually if you want something you best go get it right then. no matter what people tell you. i have sold alot of used cars and trucks since i was injuried just to make some extra money and you would not believe the times i had people tell me im on my way and they never show. now its first come first serve for me. i do not hold nothing anymore. also this guy said he had to get rid of the boat quickly because he didnt want to pay storage again for another month and i dont blame him for that. i thought he was a nice guy,he was even going to bring the boat all the way up this way for me free of charge. i understand your frustration but so many people had ask him to hold it for them and didnt come through so i guess he thought you were going to do the same to him.
