I'm having the poorest deer season in years. I can't even see a deer while hunting. I've hunted over a crap load of sign and good buck sign. But he never shows up. It's funny how some years you have deer running everywhere and some years nothin.
I did see a couple bears and hogs but couldn't make contact.
Well maybe the tables will turn this week.

I'm with ya man, I've never hunted so often yet seen so little as I have this season. I'm starting to think that they are messing with me. I hunted a spot at my house in between two deer trails, one of which had several rubs along it, on Wednesday of last week. Didn't see the first deer. I went back Saturday and found a large rub and scrap about 10 yards from my tree stand. Hunted it Saturday and Sunday and didn't see a darn thing.

IF YOU HAVE A TRAIL CAM I WOULD PUT IT UP ON THE SRAPS AND RUBS AND THAT SHOULD TELL YOU WHAT TIME HE IS VISITING THAT AREA. MAYBE YOU CAN PATERN THE TIMES HE IS IN THAT AREA.

He stay with it and look at your tactics. I didn't get a shot at the one I attached but my buddie was in the right place of course. I wanted a guide fee, but he just laughed. He had never hunted my place and I spent several minutes talking about the deer and the way they were feeding in the area and left him for about a hour when he clicked on this nice one.
