did any one see the space station tonight it was in the sky to the north and you could see it very well for about 4 min looked like a bb

Nope. Where do you find out about looking for meteor showers and night skys? I would like to show this stuff to my daughters.

Haven't watched the space station this year but I suggest anybody with kids or grand kids to do so. Best thing, it's predictable and if you have people with short attention spans, this will work out fine. All you need is a compass and angle finder or cheap plastic protractor and paper clip to hang in the hole. You actually don't need anything but it's impressive to point and say it's coming up there. Parents are supposed to look smart and grandparents are supposed to look even smarter

Here's a list of times for your area: http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightings

Greenhead, this might be what you're looking for but remember, even Soddy has a few too many lights to see the night shows, real good.

Seen it two nights in a row. Pretty cool. I looked it up and they usually stay something like 207 a 250 miles from earth.

... my wife and in laws went out on and watched it two nights. I saw it one night. If you like that sort of "Space Stuff" you really need to go see this new movie Gravity on the 3 D Big screen. 98% of the movie is in outer space not on the ground. I saw where several astronauts also endorsed it. You will be white knuckled and on the edge of your seat all the way. It's great!
