Speakin of Bands...

After posting in Puddles thread I noticed alot of ya'll have Lynyrd SKynyrd Zepplin and AC-DC on your list. Maybe be it's me..or the fact that KZ106 plays nothing but Skynyrd and Zepplin and AC-DC all day everyday (which is PATHETIC) but it's done made me to where I can't stand to hear them three bands anymore.

I used to like those bands..but dang...the radio station could mix it up alittle bit don't ya think??

I rarely listen to songs like, "sweet home alabama," "Gimme 3 Steps," and "What's Your Name?" by Skynyrd, because of the reason you state. I would suggest getting into some real deep Skynyrd cuts you don't hear on the radio like, "Comin Home," "All I Can Do Is Write About It," "Four Walls of Raiford," "I Never Dreamed," "Was I Right or Wrong?"...etc...

Same thing for Zepplin... they are muuuuuuch more deep than just Stairway and Whole Lotta Love.

This is the reason I don't listen to radio... just my Ipod and talk radio.

I love AIC as well, they are my main workout music.

Two words, Satalite radio. If you are a true music lover, you gotta get it. SO many choices, with REAL variety. I cant stand local radio!! US101 makes me want to puke...KZ106 for the rasons you mentioned. JackFM aint bad when I am playing poker with my buds, but that is only 5-6 hours, twice a month, so it would get old if I listened to it more I would guess.

Thanks Bprice and Spur!!! Great advice guys I have satellite radio on my TV but hardly ever want to listen to music when Family Guy is on.LOL I will definitely look into getting it for my truck!


Speakin of deep cuts I did hear an AC/DC song the other day, I think it was called "ride on"?? Bon Scott was singin it...and yeah..AIC has some GREAT songs that get the blood flowing!! RIP Lane......................................................................................
