Spotsticker Baits is located in Alabama on Logan Martin Lake just outside Talladega. We began five or six years ago with a simple jighead . We installed a thin wire hook from eagle claw in 3/0 and 4/0 sizes for bass fisherman . We have since began to use long shank hooks of various sizes and added a 1/16 ounce weight to the 1/8 , 3/16 and 1/4 ounce already being sold . We were among the very first to use the red hook theory for jighead fishing as well as the red head for spinnerbaits both featured in Bassmaster magazine as top new lures. We have also added a line of black nickel hooks in our jighead for the fisherman that requires a slightly stronger hook. We do specialize in finesse fishing with the small jigheads but also offer skirted jigs in 17 colors from 1/4 to 1/2 oz versions . We also have custom built spinnerbaits and have two other well known companies products on our site with S.O .B Lures minime spinnerbaits that are compact spinnerbaits especially suited for spotted and smallmouth bass . We have Sworming Hornet Fish Head Spins that have produced a large amount of fish for us as well as fisherman on Lanier in Georgia . One of our favorite lure choices is our hand poured worm that comes in 8 fish catching colors with the latest being the new key Lime Pie color that has been a hit for Net Baits for the last several years . We post regular fishing reports as well as guide trips and give our customer the best we can offer. We are tournament fisherman that actually tournament fish and understand what a angler is looking for on tournament day .
You will notice that our reports will include a variety of lures for seasonal patterns with our favorite way of fishing being the Spotsticker jighead and hand poured worm. If you visit our site you will see that we are involved in our community and give back as much as possible . you will also alot of stories and photo's of anglers across the country listed on our site to give them a chance to share their story with everyone . We list only the products we use and believe in !
We do invite ya'll to come to our site and take a look ! We hope we can make some new friends as well as customers in the area and above all we hope at least some of the folks around Chattanooga can enjoy some of the success with our products as we have .
We are always open for phone calls or emails with help on our lakes and we also field alot of calls on how we use the spotsticker . We try and answer every call with tips and ideas that will help the angler catch more fish ! We think that taking a kid fishing whether boy or girl can help keep them involved in something thats a natural high ! No Drugs or Alcohol Needed ! just a pole , bait and a lake !

Thanks for all the info, Donnie.

Guys, I can't begin to tell you how crazy I am about these little jigheads! To the eye, they appear to be just like any ball head jig, but it's the larger 3/0 and 4/0 hooks that are SO different. Alot of us use finesse worms with the conventional T-rig, but try one of Donnie's heads w/ a T-rig and you'll be amazed. The difference is that the Spotsticker head, when T-rigged, will hold the bait up of the bottom a lot better than a bullet slip sinker will. Hooksets are deep and the light wire hooks penetrate effortlessly.

My fav set up is a light action / fast tip spinning rod w/ either 8 or 10 lb Sensation line on a 1/8 oz head. If I'm fishing really deep or it's windy, I like the 3/16 oz. Docks, chunk rock points, and even brush piles are all good areas to use a Spotsticker rigged bait. When the chips are down ... this is my 'go-to' bait any time of the year. During the cooler months it's almost all I throw. They've also proven to be invaluble up on Parksville in that deep, clear water for those angry Spots.

If any of you are curious, let me know if you see me on the water, at the ramp, or at a CFF event and I'll be happy to show you what they are all about and give you one to try out for yourself. Please send Donnie an email or give him a buzz and he will take care of you with the best service out there.

Speaking of that ... it's about time for me to re-order! I broke off quite a few on Saturday ... they were MEAN hooksets ... just ask Jmax!!

Thanks again Donnie for joining our forum.
