I was going to be in mid-Tn on Friday, so I called Sean to meat me to look at a piece of property for the upcoming deer season, then head to AEDC to head off a gobbler heading back to roost. Best laid plans and all that, we were about 30 minutes later than I wanted to be getting there, and then aguys car was broken down and blocking our entrance for a few minutes to boot...welcome to Spur-luck Sean. </p>
Got to our spot, and we set the deeks up and sat back.I got an answer about 10 minutes later, another 15 minutes, he gobbled on his own, but would not answer me back. it was getting pretty late and I got two birds to answer in unison one more time. I was really sure that the birds would run into us while going to roost, but it didnt happen. It was still fun, and I have heard or seen birds every time I've been to the woods so far, so Im happy.
