Stabil???????

How often, how much, & what kind of stabil are you supposed to use in your gas. I mix my gas. Am I supposed to keep it in my gas all the time? If I am going to have my boat out every week, do I still need to use it????? Thanks for your opinion.

With it as cold as it is it would not hurt to put it in the gas no matter how often you use it. However if you let it stand for a while use it to store so it will start better when you get around to using it again no matter how cold or hot it is. I like to use it this time of year because my 200 is hard to start once it gets below freezing. In the summer I do not use the stuff since the gas never sits there all that long and the motor starts better when it is warm. emoThumbsup Jmax

I'd use the kind made for marine engines. My boat doesn't have an automatic oil system so I put in 6 gal. of gas and 1 pt. oil at a time and that's when I put in the reccommended amount of stabil. Mine sits way too much in this cold weather.
