Aluminum will flex when you give it gas.So let's say you have a 19 pitch prop but when you start to take off the metal will bend and change the pitch of the prop to let's say 20 or 21.How much exactly I don't know but it only hurt's your hole shot. Then after your on your way it will return back to it's original shape.SS prop's do not flex under a load That's why SS prop's are the way to go.If you have a bass boat you want a SS prop for a bass boat, there is a big differance.Bass boat prop's have narrow blades for quick rpm's and less drag at top speed and large boat's need wide blades to grab more water.I can say you will gain on both hole shot and top end but just how much exactly, you will have to find out by trial and error.
