Hellloooo ChattaNOOOOGA. Just thought i'd let you guys know about the awesome sport of hockey. I see that not many people down here watch it but you should give it a try. It's a full contact sport just like football but you'll see a fist fight almost every game complete with bloody noses and high intesity goals gliding down the smooth ice at 35 miles an hour. Don't miss this opportunity to see a really really intense game tonight. Detroit Redwings vs. Pittsburg Penguins Game 5 @ 8pm on channel 4 (comcast cable)...if Detroit wins this game they will once again be the Stanley Cup champions and wielders of the 35 pound Stanley Cup. Don't miss the afterparty on the ice complete with octopus throwing and lots of superstar interviews. Lets go Redwings! emoToast
Lets roast some penguins tonight! emoHungry

I hate to break it to you man... but the reality of it is that hockey is a spectator sport ONLY when it's LIVE! I grew up in NC and the only thing we knew about hockey growing up was it was the sport that flipped by on ESPN when it was on. You can't really appreciate it until you have sat in a rink and had a puck go whistling by. Louie played for the last couple of years we lived up there and we loved going to the MN Wild games, but just can't get up for a game on TV.... you may be all alone on that down here. Hoby Baker who???? emoPoke emoLaugh Bet not one guy on CFF knows what Hoby Baker is referring to.... unless they are a YANKEE!

What is this game you speak of??? Hokey....is that like hokey-pokey??

<font color="#ff0066">Yeah, for the Red Wings....I am glad they won the Cup of Stanley.......I have been a fan for a long time..in fact back in the 70's we had season tickets for the Atlanta Flames for 3 years before they moved to Calgary. I have Bobby Orr's picture and autograph...yea...got to meet him and talked for about 14 mintues...he was a great one for Boston......and yes, us Southern hillbillys ain't so far removed from the world of sports......did not get to watch the game last night cause I was on the ball field but saw the highlights.....what a game... the Fat one has spoken..
