Starter question

Could someone tell me if I could get away with putting new brushes in my starter or will I have to get a new one? It seems to not have been spinning fast enough like the battery was dying but the battery was good. I blew it out before the last time I carried it out and it started like a champ but now it is back the way it was. Also where would be the best place to buy these.

Brushes usually takes care of it. Most of the time a brush will wear out or stick and will slow them down.
