Anyone know of someone who can rebuild a starter for a 80's model merc? Its killing me not being able to fish righ now.

Also has anyone used camoclad on a fiberglass boat? Need to do a boat make-over and thinking about camoclad for the outside and inside surfaces along with new hatches and carpet.

Thanks.

Mark you don't say where you are at but about any automotive starter and alt repair shop can rebuild one.
As for the other I have seen it done but have no experience in its app. myself.

Camo Clad

The Camo-clad is tough stuff! It looks pretty good too, so you might want to look hard at using it. It seems to stick to dang-near anything, so I dont see a problem with using it on your application.

Spur i have used it on shotguns and a buddys duck boat but didnt know how it would hold on a fiberglass boat. I have found some pretty cheap so im leaning towards it right now.

Now that is what I call good info on the place. Thanks for that.

When you go to put that stuff on that glass make sure you have cleaned all the wax and dirt off. You can get a product at the dollar store called awsome. Get the clear kind and not the orange and it will clean it of grease dirt or wax. Good stuff. Just don't use it on glass windows
