This is the third year I have been blessed that my wife has hunted with me, but feel bad that I have as of yet been able to put her on her first shot at a deer. She is getting better with her bow and is a dead shot with her rifle, but with the areas I have to hunt there aint hardly any deer plus all around the areas have been pressured hard so its almost impossible for me to even see one. So that brings me to the question does anyone know anywhere I might be able to take her for her to get her first deer or would someone be willing to let me bring her to personal property just to let her get her first deer. Please by no means am I asking for someone to share or give up there honey hole (as I know how hard it is to find one) all I'm asking is help for me to get my wife her first deer and we will never bother anyone spot again. Just want to get the monkey off her back cause she has been pretty hard on herself for not getting one yet and I dont want her to get discouraged and stop just because I can't produce a good spot for her to hunt.

Thanks spurhunter for the offer. Trust me I know how bad things have slowed down lol. That's why I'm grasping straws here asking for help for her.

If i had my own personal land to offer i would offer if you wanted to make the drive. I Know the feeling my girlfriend has hunted with me for as long as we been together (8-9yrs) and shs has yet to kill a buck. Couple does but no buck. She is being picky/selective. She passed on a small 4 pointer couple weeks ago. Hoping to get her one over the christmas holidays since were both off all week. Good luck to the two of you. First one is the hardest.

you can come and go with me but it will be high out of state and all and still cant say you will see any I have only seen 6 all year and only 1 small buck but who knows

Bear hollow what used to be compartment one on carter Mtn state runs it now like management area type 94 permit needed that mt is Really good this time of year just find you a bluff cut and you should see deer.

Hunt near Bluffs regardless of where you are right now. If you are in the Mountains that is. LOL It is very hard to find Bluffs in the valley.. We have been Busting the Deer these last few weeks but the bigger Bucks and most Does are right at the Bluff-lines. My side-kick got a big body small rack seven point yesterday.

Thanks for the offer procraft but after christmas I couldn't afford an out of state tag. I do have the last week of the season off from work so hopefully will be able to pull it off at the stretch. I have never been to bear hollow but will give it a shot in the dark if all else fails. Only bluffs I know to hunt is in middle Tn and have not had the chance to go there this year but is on my list of places to try when I'm off. Thanks for the help and support hopefully by then end of the season I can give some good news.
