Does anyone have a good idea on how to improne the hole shot. I am running a 3blade 26 raker I believe I can't really see the number it is so small.

Rakers are not known for their holes shot. They don't have enough exhaust relief to allow the engine to spool up. A 4 blade would be better because they have a gap between the case and prop to allow alot of exhaust to pass and makes for great hole shots. You may take it to Performance Propeller and tell Billy or Tim what you need from it. They may be able to hook it up or give you a suggestion on what you need. You may find somone with a renegade prop that will let you try it.

If you have access to a 2nd thrust washer, you may put it on and see how it does. This creates a gap and usually make a improvement on the hole shot. Trick I learned many moons ago.

Hope this helps.....

The new Raker 2 prop has larger Exhaust relief holes drilled in it. If it's not a raker 2 take it to billy or tim at perfromance like wrenchin2 said and they can drill the holes out bigger. If it's a raker 2 it will say on the side of the prop.

Seems like it bogs down or takes a while to spin up. Once it spins up, it jumps out of the whole and blows out. It is a RAker II by the way
14 1/2 x 25p.

It's that 200 lb tackle box your fishing partner brings with him!!!!!!!!!! emoUpsmile Try sitting it towards the front of the boat.
