Steve Kite

Asking everyone to please pray for Steve Kite as he took a nasty spill this afternoon getting out of his boat and apparently hurt his back pretty bad. Got pretty scared as I got back to the ramp at CFP and saw an ambulance and park rangers down by the ramp next to Steve's truck and boat. Talked to his wife and she said he slipped and fell getting out of the boat and hit his back on the trailer tongue. They stabilized him and took him off on a stretcher. I assured her that every fisherman in Chattanooga will be praying for him to get better. If anyone gets any updates please post them.

Just talked to his wife. Nothing was broke. He is just bruised up pretty bad and going to be sore for awhile.

I hope he's alright-that is getting to be one of my most nervous times when I fish alone!
About 20 yrs ago I slipped off the tongue of my trailer and landed on my ribs on the winch spool. I would be in an ambulance (or a coffin) if I did that now!

Glad he is okay but this makes twice he has slip on his boat. He needs to be wrap in bubble wrap for now on.

I made it to the doctor Fri. he took some more x-rays an re read a cat scan , got 2 broken bones close to the spine not serious but very painful should have a full recovery,just going to take some time . THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS!!
