Man this really s*@#s.emoAngry Still boatless and waiting. The guys at Chattanooga Fish n Fun got in a power head and it was the wrong one that did not have all the stuff.emoDoh They reordered the right one and when it came in they went to work getting me togather since I have been waiting for some time now. Got it almost 100% put back togather and was just about finished with it when they discovered it had a problem!!!!emoMad All they could do was call OMC and have them ship another. They were very apoligetic.emoSorry Now here we are still waiting for yet another power head.emoBang Do you think the third time will be the charm? I will be stuck at home tomorrow so if anyone has an open set let me know.emoRolleyes Jmax

Jmax I would tell you to come and get mine and I have never even meet you but my starter went out wensday and I had to be pulled in. But thankfully there were 2 really nice guys in wolftever to pull me in.

Boat repair shops / mechanics .. are just like any other .. some good some bad .. but at even the best mechanics cant fix something with defective parts.
It as much as boat engines cost you would think they would be as reliable as cars .. but the don't seem to be , my 2001 Toyota Rav4 has 209,000 miles and the only major issues Ive had is emissions issues, o2 sensors, and catalytic converter other than that it never fails me.. maybe Toyota needs to make outboards

Sorry to hear that JMAX,being w/o a boat stinks sometimes.It's like everything that is done nowadays nobody takes pride in there work and are just looking for a paycheck and if it gets done right or wrong ,oh well gimme my check.It must be in their upbringing or genes emoUpsmile cya soon I hope we need to get back in the groove soon.

I have always thought that the Lord looks out for us all one way or another. For reasons unknown to me I am not suppose to have a boat right now.emoScratch Maybe if I did I might have a wreck, fall in or something much worse. Maybe I am suppose to spend time with the family to keep something from happening there.emoConfused I'm no saint but I try to put my life in his hands and listen when I am being told something. Now anyone that knows me all that well knows I do not always listen that well but I will give myself credit for at least trying.
The gang at Fish N Fun cannot help defective parts like NRGBF said and I know they are not happy with having to do it all over again. I have no animosity towards them what so ever. They have already said that as soon as the new one comes in they will pull off of whatever they are on and get me taken care of. I will have a boat soon(I hope) and will just keep trusting in him and it will all work out in the end.emoAngel Jmax

I hear ya Jmax, I have been very patient with my mechanic, and even though its now over 4 months....cripes!.....I just figured it was meant to be. Looks like he has a plan to get me on the water next weekend, so I am holding my breath!
