Not too happy as we spent a good chunk to have trim repaired on our old Evinrude and less than one week later it is having the same problem. Trims up real slow, does notmaintain position. I was told that the repair might not work, howeverfollowing the repair the mechanic told me "It stayed up overnight after I fixed it. He also added "You'll need to trim it up and down several times to get any air out of the system and it will improve over time."Motor trimmed up and worked well the first time or two out on the water, then started it's old tricks.

Anyideas on this?

Would appreciate any recommendation for a shop which will stand behind it's work for at least a week! (Is that too much to ask?)

There should be a good Evinrude dealer around you some place, if they are very busy, they should know what to do.

I have heard good things from this forum as well as from friends not on this forum about Superior Marine in Soddy but have no personal experience with them.
