I waited until the first round of storms left the area. Got on the Water around 10:00. Fished the usual haunts with small fish to show for it. Noticed lightning to the West so I headed to Harrison Bay just in case. Just as I caught my first keeper of the night the normal Friday Night Tournament was ending. 25-30 boats coming in at one time. Then all heck broke loose. Wind, lightning, and heavy rain. I'm glad I remembered my rainsuit. I found a covered slip near the ramp and watched as all those boats trid to get off the water. What made it tougher was the fact that the big light at the ramp wasn't working so many of the guys were using their headlights to illuminate the ramp. It was a madhouse. They did manage to weigh-in in front of the bathrooms. I stayed under cover until 3:45. It was still raining pretty hard so I decided to call it a night. 1 keeper to show for it. Might as well try again tonight.

Yep! I fished a small club tourney below the dam and we had to weather the first round out in Chattanooga Creek under I-24. Then around 2am the bottom fell out. Fisheadspin won with 4.95# (a spot and a 3.75# smallie) 2nd was 4.50# and we had 4.30# with A 15"LM a 12.5"spot and a 13" meanmouth! Besides the storms, and tough fishing, I enjoyed fishing down there. We caught alot of small spots and 2 cats around the museum on SBs and t-riged creature baits.
