emoBang Like I heard form several anglers this weekend( They can drain this lake & fill it with concrete).. emoHoppingmad I "o,ed" for 2 days. My coangler 1st day had @ 4.25lb for big fish, o 2nd day. 2nd day partner o 1st day, 2 fish for 3.68 lb for today. emoScratch Least they had some weight. Both Boater & Co- Angler had 21 places, everyone else of 30 boats O-ed emoSorry . Tough, patern Sat was flipping tops in channel sides, 2nd day emoQuestion emoQuestion . I had total of 6 fish in boat, all short, broke 1 off in tree top, had 1 to wrap me about 6ft on tree limb & pulled off, looked to be good 5 lbr....That were my opportunities, dropped 6 places in points emoUpsmile, still 16th for year...Hartwell for regional....need help.... emoThanks ............ emoGeezer emoUSA

Sorry it was so poor for you Jerry, I have never cared to much for Watts either. Glad you have stayed high on points even with the poor one here. emoThumbsup Jmax

Any of the BASS/ABA guys know why the guy with 17lbs first day got DQ'ed? Hardest I ever seen Watts Bar fish. 0ed first day and caught stripers, catfish and fortunately two bass two day. One was on a pop-r and the oth was dragging a ledge with a jig. If any one wants info on Clark's hill, pm me.

He was DQed for not being able to produce insurance certiicate emoDoh emoDoh , was told at meeting it was an absolute necessity & would be 1st request from director for winning weight. Expensive NO BRAINER lesson........... emoGeezer emoUSA

Ooch!!! That is a no brainer if they told everyone that the meeting before hand. I would have dang well made sure I had it before I went. Can't blame the tournament people if they told everyone in advance. Rules are rules, that will send a message to everyone else going forward.

I remember back in the 80's where a guy on the Arkansas river was fishing a big bass tournament. 1st place was a truck and five grand. They told everyone all through it that if you were to win you would have to take a polygraph. Then the guy that won refused to take it!!! emoEek He got mad and said he was so nervous he felt he would fail so he refused. He left and was still complaining after it. That made no sense, if he was not going to take it then why fish it? I am sure the guy in second that ended up winning was glad he did that but really there was not a single person there that felt he had not done something wrong and was afraid to take the thing. I do not like them either but have had to take four so far in my life time. Need to know the rules and be ready to comply. emoGeezer Jmax

That's what I was thinking. Fished with a guy down on Guntersville who didn't have insurance and he was trying to get insurance in the parking lot before we weighed in. Knowing I just flew up the morning lake in fog with a un-insured stranger was kind of irritating.

Same here. No fish dropped one place from 19 to 20. Regional here I come. My second day co=angler had 1 fish 3.3lbs. I got a 14 inch one end he caught that from the same spot while I was unhooking mine. Co-angler had 2 fish, one each day, and finished fourth. Found the fish on day 2. All up on the bank in 6 inches of water. Could not get them to bite. Saw a school of 5 or 6 and about 15 loners. All looked to be over 3 lbs with one much bigger. Co-angler should have won, he got broken off early in the morning on a top water.

It was the worst bite I have ever seen. I had 4 fish over 2 days and finished 7th. Caught all mine flipping. Hoping Clarks Hill is better. Congrats to everyone who made the cut for Regionals.
