Saw that boy out around a week and a half ago. He sounded very positive and upbeat about the surgery. Having it done now during the slow season.

Anyone heard how it went? Have him in our prayers. emoAngel Jmax

The procedure took twice as long as normal to perform. More damage to the acetabulum (hip socket) than they expected. Nothing that some duct tape and WD-40 won't fix. He is in recovery and will be transferred to a room tonight. Will go to inpatient rehab in 3-4 days. I expect him to be non weight bearing for the next 6-8 weeks. He is at North Park Hospital.

My wife is a pt and she had hip surgery about a year and half ago. She still hurts sometime still recovering. I know what he is going through. Stay positive.

Jerry was transferred to a rehab facility yesterday and is doing well. I'm sure they'll only be able to tolerate him for only a week or so before they throw him out.
