We are desperately needing 30 more co-anglers to enter the Stren Series tournaments to make a full field. These are blind draw tournaments where you will be fishing with a pro out of the back of his boat, these might not be house hold named pros but are great fisherman and nice people to be around. These are four day tournaments with everybody fishing the first three days and the top ten goes out on the fourth day. If you might be interested call FLW outdoors at (270)252-1000. I am not affiliated with this group so it is of no benefit to me but I was called to see if I could get any help and I thought this would be the best place to ask.

Entry fee for a co-angler is $325.00
Dates are
Seminole 1-30 to 2-2
Eufaula 3-12 to 3-15
Santee Cooper 4-16 to 4-19
Pickwick 6-4 to 6-7

Amazing how popular CFF has become. I am down here now in bainbridge getting ready for day one. i've never been here and i'm at the mercy of the boater, as co-anglers have no rights to the boat or water to be fished. which doesn't bother me since i haven't been here. but i think i got a good guy for day one with similar styles of fishing. I'll keep you posted on the results. Looks like a pretty good front is on the way. I'll do some campaining for CFF while I'm here also!

Its been tough last two days. Weighed in one the first day 1lb 9 oz and one today 1lb 11 oz. For a two day total of 3lb 4oz. but I'm being consistent and improving daily.emoBang It could always be worst. I'm hoping for a big day tomorrow.emoThumbsup

Just got back from lake Seminole. Fished with some amazing guys, learnt alot and had a blast. Ended up finishing third in the co-angler division and also got big bass of the tournament a 9lb 4oz toad, biggest fish i've ever cought. was leading days two and three, got paired up with a guy going up river catching shoal bass and with all the rain we got it had muddied up the water and it had rose three feet. He caught a 5lb shoalie and i struggled to get a 1lb 1oz large mouth. Had a blast though learned alot about fishing current that I can put to use. Guess it wasn't meant to be, I'll keep on trying though never even expected to be in the top ten let alone leading for two days so I'm not gonna complain. Getting on stage and talking in front of all those people was new thought I would be nervous but really wasn't. FLW really puts on a good show, they really take care of their anglers.

NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

Gerrit, congratulations on your 3rd place finish. That's quite an accomplishment against some great competition, especially with big fish of the whole tournament. Keep it up and good luck @ Eufaula! See ya there.
