Well I was supposed to head north this morning and fish below Watts Bar,but woke up late so decided to stay close to home. I put in Right at the dam(man is the water ripping and as high as it gets!!) They have the flood gates open,so I knew it was going to be tough getting in a decent position. What I would do is drive the boat up to about 50 yard from the wing wall and cut it into the flood gate current and cast really fast. I could only get one cast per drift. Ended up with 4 small stripe. I don't have a weight on them so I'll say between 3 and 7 lbs. I caught all the fish on ice colored super flukes w/ hot pink lead heads. Not much to report,I think if I could have gottnen my casts closer to the falling water(coming from the flood gates) I probably could have caught a few more. That water just makes me nervous with a bridge being there.
