Striper fishing Easter AM. 4-16-2006

I took a friend this morning below Watts Bar dam to have a wonderful sunrise service doing what I like to do best. However, several others had the same idea and boat traffic was horrible through the few fish that were there. I managed to catch 1 striper around 8 lbs and 9 large white bass. I only saw 2 other fish caught and they were drum. People using live bait just weren't doing anything this morning. I never use live bait. If I can't catch'm on artifiical baits, then I won't catch'm. There were at least 12 boats or more competing for the 2 turbines that were running very little water. Going again Tuesday morning and hope that there won't be as many boats on the water. Somebody needs to go to work and keep up retired folks up.emoAngel
