You can fish by boat up there, but you can't fish from the Rhea Co. side on the bank and it is a waste of time to striper fish from the Meigs Co side in MHO.
Look at the generation schedule that TVA puts out each day for the next day's turbine operations. If they aren't running more than 2 turbines, you probably won't get any striper bites. You can tell that by the daily output average. It's a little early yet to seriously think about striper fishing. Wait until November. That is what I'm waiting on.
