After watching the lightning in the distance until 11:30, I decided to take out at HB and I'm glad I did. 30 minutes after backing in the garage, it hit.
it got rough Wednesday too. ran out of down the lake and it went on towards cleveland and Charleston then wind shifted about an hour later and went kicked up to around 40 it was rough loading out probably most dangerous load out ive had. this was at grasshopper where it got so rough

Yeah I was out of grasshopper that night too. That wind was intense!! It was awesome watching that super cell go over hiwassee island. I saw a bald eagle flying around the edge of the storm. Those eagles love to come out during those strong storms</p>
I was out there Friday night . I knew of big dock I could run to , so I never got too far from it . Not sure I've ever seen that much lightning in one night . Even before the actual storm got to us . It was crazy !!! Fish loved it ! They were eating good .
I agree with completely with you fishinvol. I thought it was about the most beautiful and largest electrical storm that I had ever seen. It looked like the Aurora Borealis at times! But I'm a nut that just likes to watch storms. We watched it for gathering strength and moving in for about two hours before we ran into the dock just before the wind and rain actually hit at HB. We sat it out for about an hour and went back fishing. It sure was impressive!
