I read a few years ago on here some folks talking about the Little Earl Crank bait. To fill those in on what happened, I'm part of the family that owned the original Suddeth Bait Co in Easley SC, My dad and uncles sold the stuff to Blade master in Ga, which started turning out some pretty bad products. Lot's of folks out there knew what they were getting was NOT of the original quality. Well with all that said, I now have a bait business and in the process of bringing back the original little earl as I have the original patterns, that was past down to me. We are trying to get them as close as possible which we are VERY close to the exact replica from the early 80s. They will be made the same exact way as my uncles made them, airbrushed, tank tested and all. So just wanted to put this out there for anyone who remembers those from back in the day.

I will definitely let you know when we are ready to put them out. We are in the early stages. A lot goes into them. But my Dad and uncles that had the original company are teaching me the ropes.

Would love to see what we could work out. Suddeth bait co was very popular over the whole SE when my dad and uncles owned. May even try a bring back the Boss Hawg. But right now our focus is on the Little Earl.
My Name is Blake Suddeth, and I will keep you all updated .

All 4 of them are still living just getting up in age. I spent all week with my dad and uncle pouring some out. Since they sold the molds we are having to take the original pattern and remake new molds which is done other than a few tweaks. But since I'm bringing it back into the Suddeth family they will be made almost identical to the originals from the early 80s that was so popular. The Lip may end up being a tad different but even it may turn put to be the same. We are working on that.
