I don't know how anyone uses this. I decided to go cheap and get a spool of the Suffix Elite 20lb. line. It doesn't spool smoothly, very stiff and has more memory than P-line.

I agree. I decided to use it this year on all my reels and every line class I use does the same thing. I've had more backlashes and line problems this year than the last 10 years combined. You get what you pay for I guess.

I thought I had done something wrong. I thought this stuff was supposed to be really good but my spinning reel sure doesnt like it.

We got some in at the store 2 months ago, it hasn't sold well at all. Last week I spooled up a reel w/ 14# Clear Elite and have used it 5 or 6 times now, I must have gotten lucky. All I've done w/ the line is throw topwater baits, and maybe the stripers have kept it stretched out LOL!

The ONLY TIME I ever use Monofilament line is for topwater but I actually thought the line was pretty good, not the greatest but I haven't had any problems SO FAR. If I had only one line to throw it would be Seaguar InvizX Fl-Carbon.....

Good luck on the water

The sufix siege in the blue box is much much better. The elite isn't as bad as you guys are making it out to be but it is harder to cast than some other mono lines. The siege is very limp and forgiving.

Well, that made up my mind for me. I was going to get some of the Suffix stuff, but now, I think that I will just spool up with my Big Game and call it Kosher.

You just can't beat good ol big game either in price or quality. I just wish they would start making it in flouresent again!!

I honestly don't have a lot of problems out of Big Game. And now that I have started using Reel Magic, what problems I did have are removed.

What's nicer is that I only use 10 and 12 lbs. test, a majority of the time. :)

I have not used much of the Mono, but I really like the suffix braid. I used the 30# braid on rattle traps this year and its tough stuff that I cant cast to the moon!

I have used P-Line high vis for 3 years and just spooled up 3 reels with 12 Lb Sulfix promix. I like it a lot bettter then the P-Line. Smaller Dia and stronger.
Not sure about the other Sufix brands.
