Hi guys!
My Dad wants to do some sort of fishing trip this spring, probably sometime in March, with myself and my sons ages 11 and 14. I've considered a gulf charter trip, hiring a local guide around here, or finding an easy to fish lake within a few hours drive and renting a cabin or something on it for a relaxing weekend trip. We have traveled all the way to Arkansas for trout on the white river and really enjoyed it, but that's too far to go.
The requirements are that it will only be a weekend, and must accomodated all 4 of us.
I thought you guys might have a few suggestion for us!

Thanks,
Mark

GO to GRayton beach, near Destin FL. Fish On Charters, Jimbo Bishop and his dad. They launch the boats from the beach, you will ride no longer than 10 minutes and will be fishing. If you wait until April 15 Red Snapper season will be open and will have a blast. if you go i March he will run you on a Grouper chart which is probably his specialty.

4 hour charter 500 bucks for 4 people ----you can not beat.

Also He can fix you up with lodging for a reasonable prices.

Jimbo is 25 years old and is the most personable, professional captain i have ever been out with. My 9 year old has been with him 3 times and recently my brother took his 6 year old son with him. He is great with kids.
