dang, was there on sunday and definitely wasnt that high

I hope the hillside doesn't slide down to the river.
It did that back in the mid 70's or early 80',s.
Washed a bunch of Randall's vintage cars away.

I was about to mention, that hill has been known to slide in the past!

The wall of water picked up his sister's mobile home, a 70 footer, and carried it across 41 hwy to a small turn off area. Her trailer sat where the store is now. It is said Nora never woke up during the ordeal but I find that hard to believe.

The original store his daddy ran before him was washed into the river, only the FULL ice cooler survived the onslaught of water rolling down the mountain. There are pics of everything posted next to the entrance door of the store.

Looked like God took His finger to the side of those mountains. Always heard a safe went in with those vintage cars.

That was run-off from the Sullivan side
