summer crappie on weiss

can any one give me any general location on weiss that i might could catch some crappie this time of year not asking for top secret spots just a push in the right direction thank guys pm with any help thanks again

Never fished Weiss lake, butler crappie will be found suspended over structure on the bottom. I would start in at least 20' and find deep drops, or changes in the bottom, brush,trees etc. Good luck!

If I was going after crappie I would try bridge pilings, shooting deep docks, or if you get there early in the morning find the docks that have lights on. Last year a buddy of mine and I got on them really good in the main river channel near the Alabama Queen just off the roadbed with trees on it. We were bass fishing and took us a while to figure out what was hitting our crankbaits. Good luck.
