I had left my keys at the house.I didn't say anything to you guys but I had taken the front and back depth finders off so they wouldn't be stolen.Rushing out the door all excited about getting to fish a tx for the first time sense October ,and fear of not getting to the ramp on time out the door I went. Leaving keys,and electronics at home. I had fished this area several years ago and knew what to expect and where the channels ran,but the thing that got me was I didnt get a single jig bite. Out of desperation,or frustration I picked up a rattle trap,spinnerbait,crankbait then a jig again with still no bite. THe wind had blown straight into a deeper cut with trash around the bank . I looked down and noticed the minnows had been pushed into the same cut. I picked up my jerkbait made two or three cast when i noticed something different about my line movement in the water.I set the hook and there she was. Never give up,and make the best of what God gives you then he will bless you.
