I am test driving a pair of Costa Del Mar in the Green Mirror glass. I like the cripness of the lens; however, there is a yellow tint. I tried the blue mirrow at the BPS before taking the green mirror. I liked them both but only need one pair. The glasses that I am testing are the fathom (fa-11). I like the frame but my eyelashes hit the lens when the glasses are pushed real tight. I know this is somewhat a personal preference but I wanted some opinions on the different lens. Thanks for your comments emoDance

Ive always been a fan of the Green lens. I have had a few pair of both, and I light the tint that the green lens puts off

I have a pair of Fathoms in Blue Tint and love them. The green is designed more for ocean use where you have miles of open water, I think.

Green mirror is for innshore and freshwater sight fishing. Blur mirror is for offshore and super bright sun. Costa makes 2 lens styles in the mirrors. One is the Wave 400 and the other is the Wave 580. The 580's are far superior. If there is a yellow tint to either then there is a problem with the glasses. They should be sent back to Costa Del Mar. Costas have a lifetime warranty on all their products.

Good advice bro. I just bought my fourth pair of Costas. Harpoons with 580 green mirror lenses. These are the most amazing sunglasses I have ever tried.
BTW welcome to the CFF and it is about time you made a post.
