Looking to buy a pair of quality sunglasses. I've seen polorazied glasses with glass or plastic lenses ranging from $8 to $250. Wiley x, typhoon, and of course Costa Del mar all boast of their products. For the money and practical use for fishing what do you guys/gals like and why? Thanks for any info!

My Overcast shades are polarized and fit easily over my prescription glasses
Sold in different sizes and shapes and colors in CVS and other fine fishing drug stores for 20.00 US

I bought a pair of these recently (Onos). I am VERY happy with them.

I pondered on Costa's, but I have come to the opinion that Costa's are sort of like Yeti coolers ... the less expensive brands work just as well, but Costa marketing gurus are good at making you feel guilty if you don't own a pair. emoCool

Anyway, based on my use so far, I can recommend the Onos. They have multiple varieties, but this is what I bought: http://onos.com/bifocals-readers-sunglasses/vieux-carre.html

Ive had Maui Jim and used a few of my buddies Costas. About a year ago I bought a pair of Wiley X "Legend" I think they are. Super light, super comfortable, and about $120 less than the Costas and Maui Jims. The lenses are plastic and that's why they are light. But they are awesome. 0 complaints. I'm probably sticking with Wiley X for fishing purposes because I can get about 2 pairs for the price of 1 of the others. But like mentioned before, go somewhere and try them on. The best pair of sunglasses is the pair that fits best. I like a copper/bronze lenses for the lake. When I used to deep sea fish in Miami I liked blue lenses.

For the longest time I never saw the point of having an expensive pair of sunglasses. Well there is a different! I have 2 pair of Costas and love them. I have the 580g in green mirror and blue lens. Also with costa I have heard nothing but good when it comes to their customer service. I would say sportsmans has the largest selection of glasses to try on and see what you like.

Costa with 580 lens. Glass are the best but the new 580 p are excellent and very durable, backed by a great warranty

If they don't fit your face, then it doesn't matter which brand as light is leaking in from the sides/top.
