That was about the sorriest super bowl I've seen in a long time. Denver played their worst game of the season, some of it contributed to Seattle defense, but to start the game giving up a safety? That was just pitiful.

Totally agree. Not only did my team lose they didn't even show. We didn't even eat all the hot wings. Not to mention my brother-in law is from Seattle. emoBang emoBang emoBang

Looked to me like that game was "bought" Manning has never missed that many passes in his career!
A couple times Denver would have 3 defenders on a runner and I saw one of them just fall down and the other defenders would just make half-hearted lunges at the runner.
The commercials were pretty sorry too, except the Doritos time travel one.
At least the Red Hot Chili Peppers were as bad as I figured they'd be! emoVomit
So yeah-I agree!

Worst game I've ever seen! Once that first play happened it looked really bad. But once it was halftime it was over. I guess half time was the highlight of the game b/c we turned the TV OFF so we didn't have to watch that crap. I feel you Dragfish, but I would have to say Peyton did set a record tonight for most completions ever completed in a Super bowl(yeah they were all like 1 yard completions) but that's still impressive b/c even though that happened they still almost got shut out.

djsmarinelectronics - 2/2/2014 10:46 PM Orange is just not Manning's color, he has never been able to win the big games in that color.

SEC championchips are kinda big. Just sayin. I feel bad for Manning. He will get blamed for all of it. He obviously didn't play great, but his entire team collapsed around him too. Part of that was definately Seatle being that good too. </p>

I told my boy the O-line stayed on the bus. I had a bad feeling after that first play. Two mistakes right off the bat killed them before they even got started. Holliday should have never attempted to run back the opening kickoff from deep in the EZ. I feel compassion for Manning because he will be saddled with the responsibilty for the loss, but its hard to get anything done with the other guys in your face.

I took my dogs out to pee at the start of the national anthem, by the time I came back upstairs my wife told me it was 2-0. I didnt even think they had kicked off yet. Seattle let Peyton complete all the 1-2 yard slants and screens, and then everyone attacked the guy with the ball and tackled him immediately. They didnt allow any big plays and played the perfect scheme.

While I think much of pro sports are rigged (they're entertainment above all else), I'll say this in the event the games are played as they ought: if the Broncos had not tried to run back the initial kickoff, it would have been a different game. Instead of starting at the 12 or 13, they would have been at the 20 or 25 (which is it in pro ball?). Then when they butchered the hike, they likely would have recovered outside of the end zone. Sure, it would have been inside the 5 (most likely), but the Broncos still would have had the ball.

Oh well. Guess grown men making millions of dollars to toss around a piece of leather can goof up, too.

What about the Coke commercial with America the Beautiful in spanish! Kinda put a bad taste in my mouth....what is COKE thinking?

I wondered what that was, I know I'm half deaf but when I couldn't understand that, it put a real bad taste in my mouth. I hope I don't offend anyone and if I do get over it, this is America, and English is the language of this country. Learn it, or a,b,c ya. That really strikes a nerve and I couldn't believe that last night and my team sucked, halftime sucked and most commercials were not good, but A Few Good Men was on so I watched it!!

I am not a Seattle fan, but they played a defensive game that would make the Steel curtain , Purple people eaters and Fearsome foursome proud.

Because America has fallen into a liberal pit of sorts. We are supposed to accept anything and everything and feel like its ok. Even if its morally right or not. If your not against anything, then you can be for everything. Thats a very sad state of mind if you ask me. One of my favorite all time commercials was the Bud Light one where the two guys were at a ball game and every player in the lineup was a foreigner. The punch line was at least some things in this country are still original. ;)
