Do any of you experts know the conditions to look for during the small mouth pre spawn below chick dam? I haven’t seen any evidence lately and I’m wondering if there’s a certain water temp to look for or if all this current has pushed them down river or up north or south chick creeks? I know the stripers and white bass run the big sewee like crazy during the spawn and pre spawn and I’m curious if small mouth may do the same below the dam on similar creeks?

It’s a creek that dumps into chickamauga near Decatur. It’s pronounced “suwee” I had to look up the spelling myself. When I was a kid there were so many hybrids and white bass and strippers running up it you could almost grab one. It used to looked like a salmon run there would be so many.
