taking kids hunting

I've deer hunted since I was a kid. But I have never been so pumped up about a season than I am this year! My son is 6 this year and with 2 juvy hunts and muzzleloader and the doe tags he got today, surely he can bring one down this year! I've spent hrs target shooting with him the last couple of years and teaching him about how to handle a firearm. I just hope it will be as fun for him as it will be for me if he gets one this year. Thats great emoThumbsup I hope he gets one!! My son is 6 this year too and I am taking him squirrel hunting this coming Saturday on opening day. He is really excited about it as am I. emoToast

It's always great to get a kid outdoors and involved in hunting. Beware when he gets bigger he will take over your equipment. I looked outside the other day and my son had my yea my bow shooting it. This just aint fair.
