Trying to catch up ha!
Dakota and Alyssa joined me again for the pursuit of a flathead.
The day was to prove to be very tough. Heavy winds and a ton of mud and debris washed in by feeder creeks made it a real challenge. Caught plenty of eater blues and finally caught a small flathead around noon.
Ended up with 4 tarp blues and at the very end of the day...caught a nice 41" flathead to meet the goal of the day.course out of all the rods it chose the little one

Way for him to stick with it. A couple of questions came to mind. How long did it take and what did he do/have the day before that tired his arms out? Awesome job!

The kid got on a roll (thanks to good guides, of course). emoBigsmile
