Tellico Lake

I go to school down here & i love the city & especially the fishing.My home is back in Monroe county the Madisonville/Vonore area right on the Tellico lake.I never seem to have as much back home as i do down here.Granted im stuck on the banks, and Chatt. has alot of places for me to get down to the water easy.Has anyone ever fished the Tellico?Any luck?I know there i tournaments all the time up that way but i just never seem to do as well back home.Ill be back that way for Thanksgiving break so ill have a week or so to try my luck.emoAngler

Yek Justin, I'm from Etowah and have fished Tellico a lot over the years. For the most part it has been a hard lake for me to fish. But than, all lakes are hard for me to fish. lol I have fished mostly out of Notchie creek or Vonore creek throwing crappie jigs or minnows. Most of the time I will manage some fish but usually not enough to write home about........

Haven't been out there in a few weeks, but my club a tournament out of the canal and I think there were three fish wieghed in. The fishing seem to be better on the London side. Tellico is hard fish because so dang clear.
