It was a very cold day today so thanks to everyone that fished.There were alot of fished weighed in today and some good bags too.We had 14 boats and hope to have more Jan.3rd.We paid 3 places and here is the top 5,enjoy....

Good Tx there Cutthroat. Thanks for putting it on. PaulJ and I had a good time. Started out fishing drops in very deep water and I put three spots in the boat on cranks in the first 10 minutes. Two were decent keepers. We knew with the group we had that spots were not going to get a check. Next area was a drop close to the shore and Paul J hooked up with a decent LM on a pig and jig. It was about 2 and a half lbs so we had a limit in the first thirty minutes. emoRolleyes Not much size. From there we tried several spots and baits with the next two coming on a buddy. Not keepers. Desided to make a run looking for size. Hit a ledge drop up one of the creeks. I was using a C-rig and boated my first decent LM to cull one of the spots. About thirty minutes later hooked up with another LM about 3.5 lbs on the c-rig again to cull the second. emoTongue Knowing we had a decent three fish bag but again not heavy enough we headed back out on the main river looking for a kicker or two. We hit several types of areas and boated a couple on blades and shaky heads but never could cull up again. I believe we boated 12 with the five keepers. Only had about 8 and a half lbs. but we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves on a cold day of fishing. Those were really some good sacks in these conditions with the top two weights having a 4 lbs average and third right at it. emoThumbsup For us we never seemed to really find a pattern on them today, just beat out a limit on several baits.

It sure was cold. We caught all of our keepers on crankbaits and rattletraps. We really had a slow day but we got the right bites. Here is a picture for those of you that werent there.
